Ringo Starr

Ringo is a rather laid-back young man. When recording, he hardly ever gives his two cents on how he thinks a song should sound so when he does speak up they tend to take what he has to say seriously. He may be the oldest of the band but he's also the newest member so creating waves is the last thing he wants to do because he doesn't want to go the way of Pete Best.

When it comes to intelligence, he's not as bright as the other lads because he missed a lot of school, thanks to all of his illnesses he had growing up. But he did teach himself to read and write so he's not completely hopeless in that department. Ringo has a good sense of humor and is known for malapropisms. He knows what he wants to say but sometimes the words just come out wrong; he can't help it.

During downtime during recording sessions, which he has a lot of, thanks to his not being needed as much as the other three Beatles, he spends his time reading comic books or having Neil Aspinall, one of their roadies, teach him how to play chess. But he does get the odd chance to sing his songs and, while he's nowhere near as egotistical as some of the other blokes, he is proud of them.
